this is a photo of coop on his 1st birthday. on the 14th of this month my little man will be 4. oh how quickly my time with coop has flown. i'm a lucky mother to have a darling son like him.

halloween 2009

although the festivities have come to an end, our tummies are still feeling a little icky from all the sugar. here's a peek into the deegan family halloween 2009....

we spent the day at my brother and sister-in-law's home. a little trick-or-treating, warm spiked cider, lots of laughs, some good food and LOTS of sweets! this is a photo of the whole crew...

a photo is tough with a 9 month old, a 1-3/4 year old, a 3 year old and a 6 year old!!! about 30 seconds later max took a header off the sofa. don't call children services just yet... i managed to throw myself between him and the floor. he's just fine, but i did something horrible to my lower back. it didn't help that i stepped on a golf ball during the rescue!

here's the best shot of our three kids: reilly was a cowgirl,
cooper was a cowboy and max was their pony.

a better shot of max in his costume... pretty cute. right?

some trick-or-treating action...

and a little more falling...
unfortunately, I didn't make it in time to safe this child :(

overall a successful day. i think i need a vacation. possibly a lounge chair by a large body of water with a fruity drink and not a child in sight. a girl can dream.
