i pinned it, then i did it

i love reading posts where people pin something
fabulous, then share their successful pin.

this is my second recipe post
about successful pinning...

and
this is a good one :)

asian grilled chicken
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 cup rice vinegar1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tsp. Hoisin sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. sesame oil1 tbs. sesame seeds
1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1 tbs. peanut butter
1/3 cup hot water
4 chicken breasts cut into long strips
12 shish kabob skewers

Soak skewers in water for 20 minutes.

Place peanut butter & 1/3 cup water in a microwave safe bowl
& heat for 1 minute. Stir until smooth & combined.

Place all ingredients except chicken & skewers
into a 9x13 pyrex dish. Stir to incorporate.

Slide chicken strips onto the skewers.
Set them in the marinade & refrigerate for 3+ hours.

Grill chicken skewers for about 7 minutes over medium heat.
Turn & cook until chicken is cooked through.

trust me, this was super yummy.
i paired the chicken with sesame noodles (via),
but i think a nice summer salad
would be a better fit.
the noodles paired with the chicken
was a asian overload!

enjoy!
