old christmas cards

over the years, i've tried
to have creative christmas cards

this year is no different

here are a few cards from over the years

2006

2007

2008
(when i was pregnant with max)

2009
on the inside, it said....
"we have no idea what's been going on!"

2010

i was tired, cranky & lazy and didn't send out a card...  ooooops!

2011

i got a little backlash from this year's card.
but... i assure you it was all done in fun.
the children had a ball and we would never, ever abuse our children.
so... lighten up people. enjoy the holidays and laugh :)

  2. You do such an awesome job! I LOVE creative Christmas cards. My favorite was last years. Jeremy dressed up in a beard and santa hat and I'm kissing him in my robe and the kids are standing in back of us in their christmas jammies looking shocked. It was a play on "I saw mommy kissing santa claus", obviously. So fun. Can't wait to see what you've come up with this year.

  3. 2009 is my absolute favorite!!!!

And boy do I feel better knowing that a graphic arts card designer didn't even send out a card last year. Cause I didn't do one this year either and I'm feeling pretty guilty.

  4. LOVE the Silent Night idea. I have seen a few other ones...probably a take-off of this one. :) Did you actually use duct tape on their mouths or is there another alternative?

    1. Thanks! We used red painters tape... not as sticky and easy to use. It was hard to find... but there is Frog tape which is green.

    2. Thanks for the comment. Typically I use Adobe InDesign, but you could probably use any graphic design program. Some good online printers are Stationery HQ, Catprint and Vistaprint.
