kitchen light

i'm on the hunt for a new kitchen light.
a chandelier or pendant to go over the table.

this is what we currently have (it came with the house).... ACK!

these are a few ideas for it's replacement...

#1- a clean and simple drum pendant...
in off-white

the large finley off-white pendant lamp
source: crate and barrel

or in natural linen
the short drum pendant – natural linen
source: west elm

a little fancier drum pendant
 the salem chandelier

maybe a hanging lantern pendant

the regal french chandelier

the carriage house chandelier

the antique copper 4-light chandelier

or maybe i should make a statement with something like this

the old world 9-light chandelier

or this
the chrome plate wood accent 33-inch 4-shade chandelier

or i something like this...
which my husband would hate
the birdcage handing lamp

many options... and i have no clue.
what do you think? do you like anything here or do you have a new option?
i'm VERY open to suggestions!

  2. So many great choices, Erin. I agreen with Fran--the drum pendant will give a modern feel and the white shade will really pop. Of course, I also love any of the lanterns, they will accentuate the lines of the black chairs. Let us know what you choose!

  4. All of these are great! I am kind of liking the drums but I love iron because they add a little color and a pop, you know what I mean? They would coordinate with your dark chairs too. I love them all, so hard to choose.

  7. I love the drum pendant...but I almost bought a lantern(s) light for my 'chandelier'. (Instead I ended up going with something cheaper altogether from Lowe's.)
